Chinese Year of the Fire Horse – Fu Ceramic Tile Art

Celebrate the Year of the Fire Horse with a unique piece combining the Chinese Fu (福) symbol, representing good fortune and blessings, with the strength and spirit of the horse.

This limited collection was created in an edition of only six individual pieces, and no two are alike. Four were created on 6" x 6" ceramic tile, each with its own color and finishing technique. Only one of each design was made.

Choose your one-of-a-kind tile:

Black
A classic monochrome version featuring the Fire Horse incorporated into the Fu symbol. The design is laser engraved directly into the ceramic tile, creating a detailed black design against the glossy white surface.

Red
A red version of the Fire Horse and Fu design. The tile is laser engraved and then individually paint-filled by hand, adding color while retaining the detail of the engraving.

Autumn Gold
A warm metallic interpretation of the design. The tile is laser engraved and then individually filled with colored wax in an autumn gold finish, highlighting the engraved design with a golden tone.

Spanish Copper
A warm copper-toned interpretation with an earthy metallic look. The tile is laser engraved and then individually filled with colored wax in a Spanish copper finish, bringing out the engraved details and giving this piece its own distinctive character.

Because each tile is individually engraved and finished, subtle variations are part of the handmade process and help make every piece unique.
